Meet the trustees

Dianne Tidball

I am the current chair of trustees, I am married to Derek and live in Leicestershire; I am involved with many Baptist Churches and was a former Baptist President. I lead Refresh Women’s Conference UK and am excited to see Jesus transform lives.

Ian Billage

I am a CTO of a software company in Peterborough. I am married to Nicky and have two daughters. I have been a supporter of Hope into Action since its inception, and I attend Bretton Baptist Church.

Maxine Symington

I am a solicitor with a background in major international projects and corporate deals. I recently retired in order to help out with young grandchildren. Married to Michael, we live in Leicestershire.

Diana Nash

I live near Peterborough with my husband Phil. As a social care professional I have a passion for safeguarding and promoting excellent support of tenants.

Howard Kettel

I am married to Barbara and live close to Cambridge. I have a background in real estate and am now retired. I have been a trustee of my church and am a group leader and an active Parish Councillor campaigning to preserve the countryside of South Cambridgeshire.

Pete Magowan

I live near Cambridge with my wife Jane and we have three fully grown children. My background is in technology companies both the startup stage and as they scale. My most relevant experience is in the governance of public companies. When not working I enjoy following small white objects on a golf course.

Jonathan Lee

I am a previous CEO of a charity in Bristol which took on a Hope into Action franchise. In this capacity I saw the process through from initial conversations to launching the franchise and getting three homes open. I’m married to Helen, and we have a son, a daughter and son-in-law. I try to maintain a modicum of fitness and connect best with God when out walking or cycling.

Richard Wightman

I live in Milton Keynes with my wife Helen. My background is in commercial and operations management and I ran the passenger business of Network Rail before being called to lead what is now a large local church. I chair a local homeless charity and am operations director of a family of 7,000+ churches.

Annelle Buchanan

I have a passion to see Jesus transform lives, through the Gospel being shared and people being discipled by churches. My husband, Zan, our two boys, and I live in Peterborough. We are actively involved in our local church, Kingsgate, as well as evangelistic ministry, Mission24. I work as a Technical Director in a Water Industry Engineering firm.
