Leave a Gift in Your Will

Help us empower the church to end homelessness - today, tomorrow, and for years to come.

A gift in your Will is a way of supporting Hope into Action beyond your lifetime.

After providing for your loved ones, you can choose to leave a percentage of your state, a fixed sum, or a specific gift.

Why leave a gift in your Will?

Being homeless is more than a lack of accommodation, it’s fundamentally a lack of connection. That’s why we don’t just provide housing: we help people find community, belonging, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Even the most complex circumstances can change. Your gift in a Will helps ensure this work continues for future generations.

Write your Will for free

We've partnered with Farewill to offer a free Will-writing service, available online or by phone.

Susie's Story

After experiencing domestic abuse and addiction, Susie found herself sleeping in shop doorways and derelict buildings, eventually ending up in prison.

Everything changed when Susie moved into one of our homes. Supported by the local church and the love of the Christian community around her, she rebuilt her life. Today she is an active part of her community and describes her journey as “life-changing.”  See Susie's story here

Your gift helps more people like Susie find home, hope, and a chance to explore faith in Jesus.

Our Faith and Mission

In the Bible, Isaiah 58 says:

“And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
the restorer of streets to dwell in.”

Through your support, we see this vision lived out as lives are restored and communities are rebuilt. We believe homelessness ends in community, and your gift helps make that possible for more people in future.

How to leave a gift

  1. Write or update your Will

    Use our free Farewill service online or by phone.

  1. Decide what you'd like to leave

    You may choose a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a particular item.

  2. Let us know (optional)

    We'd love the opportunity to thank you and keep you updated on the impact of your support.

Questions?

If you would like to talk confidentially about leaving a gift in your Will, we'd be happy to help.

    Why our volunteers are amazing: Kate Doran-Smith

    From Belfast to Bournemouth hundreds of people across our 37 locations are doing just that: freely offering to befriend tenants, paint walls, bake cakes, fundraise, pray, donate and garden to see tenants loved, staff teams supported and homes kept beautiful. Each volunteer offers their time, skills and resources and each is unique, however they share a common belief that volunteering is worthwhile.
