Stories and Outcomes Blog Over 500 tenants housed in one year Homelessness ends in community: our impact report for 2025/2006 Behind every statistic in our new impact report is a story of transformation through community. Mark, our Head of Operations at Hope into Action, recently had a coffee with David. Mark didn't know that David was aware of our work, but as they chatted, it turned out that David had been involved as a Friendship & Support volunteer to one of our tenants in Peterborough in the early days when Hope into Action started. What was incredible was that 12 years later, David was still in touch with this former tenant, and they were still meeting up together. The tenant has of course long since moved out of our housing, but all these years later, the friendship and support has endured. This one story is a great example of the theme of this year’s Impact Report – Homelessness ends in community. This is more than just a phrase – it is a core belief that underpins the Hope into Action model. As well as housing, people affected by homelessness need positive, engaging relationships and a connection to the community in which they live. Our 2025/2026 Impact Report looks at how our work is improving then lives of many by creating supportive and loving communities. Highlights include: For the first time ever, we housed over 500 people in one year. We have 134 homes open and operate in 37 locations across the UK. 90% of tenants with a history of mental health problems report their situation has stabilised or improved. 53% of tenants asked for or accepted prayer.
