The need to house the homeless is urgent.  It’s pulsating, tragic and growing.

We believe the church has enormous financial, social and spiritual power to address this need.

In Bicester one church put in £10,000 from its reserves and then 28 other investors from their community followed suit, bought a house and it is now housing refugees.

We’re serving over 60 churches who have done something similar in 23 towns.  66 homes are open.  170 people now have homes and are receiving the love of the church.  Addictions are being conquered, crime is down, relationships up, churches themselves are being transformed.

Rowan Williams nailed it when he said, “What I really admire about Hope into Action is that it has a holistic depth to it. Hope into Action allows people in our churches to recognise they can actually do something.”
