About the role

We are looking for a supportive, listening, spiritually astute Chaplain to provide pastoral support and care to our staff, develop our prayer strategy and pray into important issues with staff. Our work can be emotionally and spiritually exhausting. Accepting that we are holistic beings, sometimes we feel tired or stretched physically, at other times we may feel drained emotionally and others may feel exhausted or challenged spiritually. This role will help us stay strong emotionally or spiritually as well as allow time to pray into key issues.

About you

The Chaplain would be a contact point for one-to-one spiritual and emotional support. Guided by the member of staff and the presence of the Holy Spirit, you would be a non-judgmental, open and honest ear who will make no assumption about belief, theology or personal conviction.

About us

Hope into Action opened their first house in Peterborough in 2010 and now have over 70 houses in 25 locations across the UK. Each house is a home to two to four tenants. We get referrals from many agencies including the council, probation, rehabs and specialist agencies.
